We peel the peas, wash them well, then peel the carrots, wash them, and cut them into small pieces

In a pot over the heat, we put 2 tablespoons of butter, then we add the chopped onion, and a teaspoon of minced garlic, and leave them for about two minutes. Then we add the spices (salt, black pepper, seven spices), and stir them well. Then we add the peas and carrots and continue stirring for about 5 minutes

After that, we add about 3 cups of fresh tomato juice and 2 cups of broth (chicken/beef) as available, and let them simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until fully cooked
